Recipe video best practices

Video ratio / orientation

You can upload videos in any ratio or orientation (horizontal or vertical). By default, videos are displayed in a 4:3 block on recipe pages (see examples below). Users can select to play videos in full screen.

Video format

We recommend MP4 or MOV format for recipe videos. We do support other video formats. Check Wistia's help documentation for more information.
